Roz Oakes
Roz is a sports enthusiast, keen athlete and health fanatic. Hailing from a large competitive North London Swimming family not only was her father a swimming coach for many years but also continued to win medals into his 70’s. It’s not really a wonder where she finds her passion and drive from!!
Becoming of age at 39, bearing 3 young children, Hugo (6), Harriet (4) and Frankie (2), and owning a rather large Great Dane 'Blue' who normally takes HER for a walk, she seems to have more interest and more to prove than ever before in the competitive sports world. Never considering herself a runner, Roz decided to try the London Marathon this year in April with friends 'Elen Rivas' and 'Nicola Moore', and to everyone’s delight, especially her own, she did it!
What's next on the agenda ... Iron man? The Olympics? We shall see.
